After this week, I’m not sure I want to talk much more about winter, but I thought it might be an appropriate time to talk about one very fond memory I have of winter. Bree and Randy got married in January….in Cheyenne, Wyoming. I think the award for the world’s bravest bride goes to Bree. She wanted a day with light snowfall, and believe it or not, she got it. There was not even that dreaded W word to speak of, so the snowflakes actually fell vertically rather than horizontally!

But in all seriousness, this definitely was a highlight of my winter shooting season. Bree, Randy, and their families were lovely, amazing people, and Bree and Randy were such troopers despite freezing their fingers to the bone. Bree is a fellow photographer as well, so I was particularly nervous about photographing her wedding. Bree and Randy definitely made my job easy, and I loved working with them. Bree picked the most perfect color palette for the time of year, and she accessorized with handmade earrings made by the groom himself. Congrats, Randy and Bree! Thanks so much for allowing me to capture your gorgeous, snowy day!

The superbly talented Tara Bolgiano of Blushing Crow was gracious enough to second shoot this one with me, and you’ll see the results of her talent in the ring shots below. I also had some amazing help from my friend, Reana Garman as well.
