This wedding was such a treat for Liz and me. First of all, we get a bit mountain-starved living in Cheyenne, so traveling to Pinedale and seeing the Wind River Range from just about everywhere in town was amazing. Secondly, there’s just something about Pinedale people that makes shooting a wedding there particularly awesome. Pinedale knows how to have fun, and they seem to have the right perspective on what’s important. I’d be remiss without giving a huge amount of credit to my good friend, Tara Bolgiano, of Blushing Crow Studio, from whom this referral came. Tara is the premiere wedding photographer in Sublette County, and she has paved the way for smooth sailing wedding days from a photography perspective. People seem to know the ropes in the way of photos, and because she has shot so many weddings in town and because she is so well-respected there. Pinedale couples and their families are incredibly gracious and accommodating to us. So thank you, Tara. You’re the bomb.

Cassie and Phil were married in late September at the height of the turning of the aspens. It was rainy and chilly, but the sun came out for the briefest of moments during the ceremony, so all was well. The day also started off with a city-wide power outage, but hair and makeup continued on without missing a beat because the stylist was able to bring in her generator to keep things running smoothly!

Cassie planned a beautiful fall-themed wedding, with splashes of yellow sunflowers and rustic elements. She and Phil were married at her childhood home in a perfect spot next to the creek. Their reception was at the Sublette County Library, which has a great event space in the new addition.

I really love this sweet and amazing couple. We had such a blast with them and their families and friends. Thank you all for being so incredible, and a big thank you to Cassie and Phil for letting us be a part of their gorgeous day. Congratulations!
