Amy and Lander are one of the most fun and genuine couples I’ve photographed. They have this sweetness about them that communicates to everyone around them just how perfect they are together. What started out as a friendship that began years ago in high school turned into much more later on. He makes her laugh and no one can miss just how smitten he is every time he looks at her.
I was so honored and happy to hear from Amy last year as she was planning her wedding. I had first met Amy at her sister’s wedding, and I adore working with her family. These sisters have a rare, unfettered friendship and love that is so special. Family is extremely important to this couple, and the Berry extended family photo we took at the Hereford Ranch was definitely one of the biggest family photos I’ve ever taken!
The bridesmaids photos were taken at the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens prior to the ceremony, and I loved sneaking these in for a little different look before the wedding. The reception was at the Hereford Ranch Arena, and Amy came up with some amazing wood pallet walls for the dance floor. It was a great way to make that big space feel a little more intimate.
We had a little rain during the bride and groom portraits, but the sun stayed out, which made for some amazing light.
It is such an honor to see families at different milestones in their lives. Thank you so much for making us a part of your beautiful day, Amy and Lander!
