Family photos should be stress-free, and they should capture your family as it really is, in all of its quirkiness and beautiful truth. If your family is anything like mine, it might be a little chaotic, a little silly, and moving ALL the time. I love to capture the truth of family interactions.
I am a Cheyenne family photographer whose sessions are relaxed, fun and energetic. I can chase toddlers, redirect cranky babies, and maybe even make grumpy dads feel like family photos were a good idea. Your job during a session is to relax and have fun, and my job is to capture the magic of your family members being themselves.
Due to a busy wedding season, I only open up a few outdoor sessions throughout the summer and fall. Get on the calendar early to grab a spot!

In-Town Mini Sessions
Keep it nice and easy and meet me at a local park or downtown for a quick session. These sessions are perfect for busy teens or families with young babies who don't love to be in the car for too long. Cheyenne has abundant parks and natural spaces that are great for family photo sessions.

Mountain Session
Is your family most at home on the trails or in the mountains? I offer mountain family photo sessions in the beauty of our recreational areas between Cheyenne and Laramie. We will walk quite a bit, exploring on the trails while we photograph your family in the wide open spaces of Wyoming. Please plan on wearing good shoes and wear clothes you don't mind getting a little dusty.

Custom Mountain Session
Have a particular mountain location in mind? This session is for you. Choose a special trail or camping spot you love and I'll meet you there. This session is perfect for locations that are a little more off-the-beaten-path or for families who want a little more time to play and explore during their session. This is the only family package that can accommodate extended family sessions.

Is there any other place that your kids are more comfortable than in your own home? This 30 minute sessions showcases you at home, relaxing in your favorite spaces. In-home sessions are especially perfect for small babies and younger children, but can be a ton of fun with kids approaching the tweens as well.

Newborn & Maternity
Expecting a new addition? I offer a select number of in-home newborn sessions each year. Sessions are low-key and relaxed, capturing baby and your family in your own home. Please inquire below for more information.
A Relaxed Evening or Morning
You'll have a relaxed, stress-free time together laughing, moving, playing games and cuddling. I'll tell you exactly what to do to get the best photos, so all you need to do is show up and have fun being you. Outdoor family sessions are typically done when the light is softer, which means we'll aim for a session time close to sunrise or sunset.

Your family is unique, and your family photos shouldn't look like every other photo on social media. Your family session will showcase connection over posed perfection. The truth of your family's unique connection is beautiful, and it's a story worth telling.
Photos Showing Your Child's Personality
Don't stress about your child behaving perfectly or performing for your session. Maybe your child is shy, rambunctious, energetic, or quiet. Your family photos should remind you of who your child really is when you look back on them years down the road, and I will aim to truly get to know them for your session. We will get individual photos, sibling photos and parent photos in addition to the family group photos.
