I was so excited when my sweet niece and nephew wanted Laramie senior photos. They grew up in Omaha but wanted the mountains and wildflowers and lakes. Wyoming provided the perfect backdrop. This location is a perfect spot for senior photos near Laramie, but we definitely need to time it right to avoid snow and hit the wildflowers when they are in bloom. Reach out the winter or spring before to get on the calendar for this location during summer months.

The gorgeous gal you're about to see is graduating today, making me feel extremely old. I clearly remember a day I received a phone call from my sister who had gone in for an ultrasound, newly pregnant.

"They found two heartbeats," she said, signaling the beginning of what I term my sister and brother-in-law's 'zombie' state. I remember visiting Omaha when the twins, one boy, one girl, were first born, and I'll never forget how tired their parents looked. Fast forward to this weekend, and they are now on the verge of setting out on their own. It truly doesn't seem possible.

I used to follow these two around with a point and shoot camera, obsessed with their little personalities, each so unique and adorable as they explored their worlds. I think I had my first inklings of wanting to photograph people because of these two.

They have each grown into kind, accomplished adults. First up, Hannah, who graduates today from Marian High School. I'm so proud of this lovely girl. I can't wait to see where life takes her.
