This wedding was first on the docket for me this season, and it nearly spoiled me with how absolutely stunning it was. Elizabeth and Todd were married this past spring at Montana Wildflower Weddings, a spectacular venue outside of Red Lodge, Montana. The ceremony was initially supposed to be outside, under a gorgeous floral arch, but the rain and clouds had other plans. While I was disappointed that the couple had to shift plans a little, the end result was something so unique and amazing that, if it were me, I don’t think I would have changed it for the world. Mac’s Floral moved the flowers that were originally meant for the outdoor altar arch into the barn to line the tables in glass vases, and this, combined with the ambience created by hundreds of candles, made for the most beautiful ceremony and reception site I’ve ever seen. Mac’s floral was also responsible for the amazing piece with the couple’s last name on it that you’ll see hanging from the barn ceiling in so many of these as well. I also loved that the rain prevented us from taking bridal party photos outside, because there was no other option for me but to take them in the barn’s doorway, and I absolutely LOVE the effect of the dark barn framing them, the twinkle lights behind them, and the pop of color their flowers made against the dark tones.

The Wildflower Weddings venue has so much to offer. The ceremony site is typically next to the lake, and the barn is spacious and well-designed as a plan B for rained-out ceremonies and perfect for receptions. The property also offers beautiful views of the mountains and a waterfall. I really wish Wyoming had something similar to offer couples!

This couple and their families and friends were an absolute dream to work with! There was so much joy, emotion and love to capture in addition to all the beauty of the day. I am in love with the photos of Elizabeth and her grandfather. Please grab a cup of coffee on this cloudy day in Cheyenne and take a peek at this lovely day. I hope you enjoy these as much as I did!

Elizabeth and Todd, thank you for making us a part of your beautiful day. It was an honor and I am so grateful to have been the one to capture it!
